The Apollo ALA26S Pilot (formerly also known as the model 990) features the largest LCD of any classic, full-size pager in the industry while maintaining virtually the same overall size.

• The extra large display is more than 30% larger than other full-size pagers (approximately 2-1/4″ wide by 3/4″ tall);
• When zoomed from 4 lines to 2 lines, each character is nearly 1/4″ tall by 1/8″ wide with 16 characters per line.

The display is holographically-enhanced and paired with a crisp, blue backlight to further improve definition and clarity. 6 total navigation buttons, with dedicated up/down/right/left controls, provide fast and intuitive scrolling through messages and menus. Other features include:

• Narrowband or wideband operation (selectable via programming software);
• The addition of a bright, LED lamp for alerts and other functions;
• “Source Prompt” custom aliases for each capcode, to clearly tag each message according to the capcode it was sent to (up to 18 alphanumeric characters per alias);

• Power from a single AA alkaline battery (plus lithium backup battery).
